So I am doing research on CAIS, Testosterone Cypionate and all that lovely stuff. I keep running across technical terminology such as,
"N705S mutants" (C. Bohl et al J. Med. Chem., 2004, 47 (15), pp 3765–3776)
Or,
A diverse class of human genetic diseases is associated with mutations to NHRs, including androgen insensitivity syndrome (S. Swann et al. Org. Lett., 2002, 4 (22), pp 3863–3866)
and it just makes me laugh and think of X-men. I can't help it.
